By booking services with Married in Minutes, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking & Payment

  • All services are by appointment only.

  • A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit or full payment has been received.

  • A $50- $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment and is applied toward your total.

  • Pricing, add-ons, and any applicable surcharges (weekend, premium date, and same-day/rush) are as listed at the time of booking.

Mariage License & Documentation

  • You are responsible for obtaining a valid Texas marriage license before your appointment. Married in Minutes does not issue marriage licenses.

  • Texas law requires a 72-hour waiting period between the issuance of your license and your ceremony, unless you qualify for an exception (active-duty military, a written waiver signed by a judge, or completion of a Twogether in Texas premarital course). You are responsible for meeting these timing requirements. Married in Minutes is not responsible for delays or an inability to perform services caused by incomplete, invalid, expired, or missing documentation, or by the waiting period.

  • A Texas marriage license is valid for 90 days from the date it is issued.

  • After your ceremony, returning the signed marriage license to the issuing county clerk within the timeframe required by law is your responsibility, unless you purchase the license return add-on. License return is included with the Minute Chapel and Simply Eloped services.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information on your marriage license and related documents. Married in Minutes is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information you provide.

Virtual (Zoom) Ceremonies

  • For virtual ceremonies, at least one partner must be physically located in Texas during the ceremony. By booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

  • You are responsible for a stable internet connection and a working device. Married in Minutes is not responsible for disruptions caused by technology or connectivity issues.

Services, Add-Ons & Changes

  • Ceremonies and license signings are conducted using pre-written scripts unless otherwise arranged. Customizations and add-ons must be approved in advance.

  • Any changes to services, guest counts, or add-ons must be communicated before your appointment and may result in additional fees. Additional guests beyond your package limit are billed at the posted per-guest rate.

  • Married in Minutes reserves the right to refuse service if you arrive without proper identification, without required documentation, or if you fail to comply with Texas marriage laws.

Cancellations, Reschedules & Refunds

  • All deposits are non-refundable and apply toward the total cost of your service.

  • No refunds will be issued once services have been rendered.

  • Cancellation or reschedule requests must be made at least 10 days before your scheduled appointment. Requests made within 10 days may result in forfeiture of your deposit and may require a new booking.

  • Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show and results in the loss of all payments made.

Late Arrival

  • Appointments are scheduled back to back to respect every couple's time.

  • A 10-minute grace period applies. After 10 minutes, a $25 late fee will be charged.

  • If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your appointment may be forfeited, your deposit retained, and a new booking required, so that the appointments following yours stay on schedule.

  • Services may be shortened or rescheduled if your delay affects other appointments. If services cannot be completed due to excessive lateness, no refund will be issued.

Photo & Media Release

  • Married in Minutes may photograph or record ceremonies for use in marketing, social media, website content, and video (including YouTube). By booking, you consent to this use.

  • If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded for marketing purposes, let us know in writing before your appointment and we will honor your request.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  • Married in Minutes strives to provide reliable, professional service in a calm and respectful environment.

  • We are not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, technology or Zoom disruptions, or government processing delays. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate you when possible.

Legal Acknowledgment

  • Marriage is a legal agreement. By booking services, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for the legal implications of marriage and for the accuracy of the information you submit on your marriage license and related documents.
